Log+Key

Home emergency call & care

Caritas

Caritas uses Log+Key in outpatient care and benefits especially from how easy it is to operate: from the smartphone to the wall terminal, the same data is used without staff having to learn a new piece of software.

How Caritas uses Log+Key

A typical Caritas site manages client keys on a shift system, with different teams out and about in the morning, at midday and in the evening. Log+Key is the shared shift log: who has which key, when it was handed over, when it was returned.

Especially relevant is the GDPR-compliant documentation — church-affiliated providers pay close attention to sound audit behaviour, and the handwritten key book is increasingly out of place. The web app runs on existing devices, without any need to purchase additional hardware.

The problems this solves

  • Shift handovers are documented, not "just agreed verbally".
  • GDPR-compliant history per client — also viewable in response to requests.
  • No onboarding effort for new staff — the system is intuitive to use.
  • If a key is missing in the morning, it shows up when scanning back in after the round — the frantic search before the round begins is a thing of the past.
  • Clear attribution of which carer took which key — this noticeably reduces stress for the station managers.
