Log+Key

Home emergency call

Malteser Hilfsdienst

Malteser Hilfsdienst is one of the first users of Log+Key (pilot customer for version 1.0, Jülich site) and today uses the system in its home emergency call service to manage clients' keys.

How Malteser Hilfsdienst uses Log+Key

In home emergency call, several departments look after the keys of home emergency call customers. The response team drives out to call-outs, technicians carry out connections and key swaps, and the administration coordinates, monitors and oversees everything. With Log+Key there is complete traceability of every key movement, simple regular stocktakes and a fast, precise overview of the entire key inventory.

The web app runs on the staff's existing devices, and NFC tags on the keyring allow quick scanning for every action. The complete history for each key is available to the service lead at any time — GDPR-compliant and without handwritten key logbooks.

The problems this solves

  • Complete documentation of key movements per client — audit-proof when the association makes enquiries.
  • Shift handovers without a separate list or a "quick call just to be sure".
  • No more lost key logbook — the history is held centrally and can be retrieved regardless of site.
