The topic of digitalisation is everywhere today. Many people are not aware that it already begins where dusty procedures are optimised in even the smallest way. The problems Log+Key solves are not earth-shattering, but they cause stress in the daily working lives of many. It is about simplifying the management of keys, thereby eliminating the chaos within businesses and efficiently optimising the process for all employees.
⌛️ A vision for the future
Our founder and managing director Philip started from the ideal vantage point: through his position at Westwerk he was in regular contact with the IT departments of various industries. Westwerk's vision of smart solutions for analogue processes frequently steered conversations towards the topic of digitalisation.
💬 A decisive conversation
The spark of inspiration for Log+Key came during a conversation with the IT manager of a large welfare organisation. The problem that came up was unmanageable key management. At that time, the wall of a well-secured room was adorned with 1,000 nails on which 1,200 keys were hanging. The keys were supposed to be documented in a complicated Excel spreadsheet, and checkouts and returns were not tracked. Chaos in handling the keys was inevitable.

With this concrete problem in hand, we set about developing a smart solution. This was the birth of Log+Key. From that moment on, we have worked continuously to make Log+Key the solution for all key management problems.
